This kingdom of Babylon  remained a list until 1595 BC,

when it fell into the hands of the Hittites, who withdrew from it after pillaging and took over power by Indo-European groups known as the Kashites who ruled the country of Babylon until the middle of the twelfth century BC.

As a result of the weakness suffered by Babylon in the late Kashi era, the Ilamites were able to occupy and rob its treasures in 1160 B.C.

Shortly thereafter (1137 BC), a ruling dynasty in the city of Essen,

The second Eisen dynasty, led the resistance in the face of the Ilamites and liberated the entire country of Babylon from their occupation.

Nabeuthigh Nasr, the first (1124-1103 BC) to make two successful campaigns against Elam, was famous for this dynasty.

His successors, however, could not maintain Babylon's power for long.

It was subjugated in the later days to the sovereignty of the kings of Assyria, and was subjected in 689 BC to the destruction of Sennacherib.

His son and successor, however, took Hadun and rebuilt her to appease her family and to make his mother Babylonian.

Babylon reappeared at the end of the seventh century B.C. as the capital of a large empire that included Mesopotamia,

The Levant and a powerful force that weighed in determining events in the Ancient East.

This status was achieved after Nabopolassar was able to control the area and install himself as a king in Babylon in 625 BC.

He entered into an alliance with the Medes, whose results were the eradication of the modern Assyrian Empire.
