The owners of the village

Some of them said, “They were the messengers of Jesus, the son of Mary, and Jesus, who sent them to them.

The Qurtubi said, “He is the son of Meri. He was a carpenter, and it was said,

He carved the idols, and he believed in the prophet, peace be upon him. And between them were 600 years, as he believed in him.

When his people killed the messengers, he came to them. “O my people, follow the messengers,” he said, “The sign is.” And Qatada said, “You are the one who sent me.

” And he served God in a cave. And when he heard the tidings of the messengers, he came running, and said unto the messengers: Are you asking for what you got paid ? 

They said : No, we were paid only by Allah. Abu Al-Alia said : I think they are honest and secure. This is the sum of what was said in what I asked about the status of the village, its residents and the messengers.
