First Babylonian Dynasty

The oldest traces of human settlement in Babylon amounts to the third thousand B.C., where the Sumerians lived in a small village that turned over time into a city.

The Kurdish king built Sharqali Shri (2223-2198 B.C.) as a temple to the gods of Ishtar,

And remained a submerged city in the era of Ur III In waves coming from the west (the Levant Desert) in the early 1000BC,

And the establishment of dynasties in many cities such as Larsa, Ashonah, Isin,

And Babylon, in which Amorite Prince Samuabo (Somopom) founded (1894-1881 AD), Sumouaboudh, and ruled over his children Benefit after him.

First Dynasty, Order of the Amorites (1894 B.C.-1585 B.C.)

The kings of this ancient Babylonian kingdom were limited to expanding their area of influence in central Mesopotamia, building certain buildings,

Especially the religious ones such as the Temple of the God of Marduk, and building fortifications and walls to protect the city from external attacks.

One of their most famous kings was Sadam Hammurabi (1792-1750 BC), who managed to overcome all his opponents from the kings of the neighboring kingdoms (Larsa, Mary, and Ashanah),

And extended his authority over the land of the two rivers, ending a long era of division and division that has spread since the end of the Akkadian era.

As a result of Babylon's fame at that time, the southern part of the Mesopotamia region became called the Babylonian Empire.
